Board your air-conditioned minivan and drive to the west side of the island with its rocky coastline and hidden beaches of natural beauty.

The first stop will be at Korakonisi, an area of natural untamed beauty which is only accessible by car or minivan. There are wonderful rock formations with a small island connected to the mainland by a small piece of rock and there is a naturally formed rock archway. It is a perfect place for photographs and also for swimming off of the rocky shore.

We then move further up the coast to Porto Roxa, which again is perfect spot for admiring the natural beauty and swimming in the refreshing crystal clear waters.

The next stop is Porto Limnionas which is another off the beaten track and naturally beautiful cove. The sea has fantastic, mesmerizing colours and swimming here is very refreshing.

Our next stop is at the mountain village of Kampi which is well-known for its fantastic views over the Ionian Sea and it is also possible to stop at the tavern here for lunch (not included in the price) to appreciate the views whilst enjoying delicious food.

Next we will visit the famous “Shipwreck viewpoint”, where you can look down from the cliff top onto Smugglers Cove, where the wreck of the ship “Panayiotis” can be seen on the beach.

Then we continue to Anafonitria. Here we will visit the famous monastery of St Dennis, the Patron Saint of the Island. St Dennis served as an Abbott in this monastery for the majority of his life until his death on the 17th December 1622. St Dennis was well-known for his healing powers and compassion. In 1703 he was declared a Saint. It is worth knowing that the monastery has recently been renovated uncovering 15th Century frescoes.

KERI - We first travel to the area of Keri which is separated into two contrasting parts. First we will visit Keri Lake which is the gulf of Keri with a beach, small port, and the harbour front. Despite the tourist growth of the area, especially in the “Lake”, the people of Keri are mainly occupied with agriculture. They cultivate olives and vineyards.

AGALA - Next we continue on to the small mountain village of Agala set among pine trees and olive groves. The architecture of the village is old stone houses and narrow streets. Our first stop will be at the Wells of Andronios. There are twelve wells in total, one for each month of the year. There are different legends surrounding these wells which you can learn about on the tour. The wells still provide fresh water to the villagers today.

We now head out to Damianos Cave, which is set on the hillside virtually opposite the Wells of Andronios, and from where, legend says, Damianos watched the dragon make the wells.

There will also be a stop where you will be able to take in the breath taking view over the mountains and the sea, giving you the opportunity to take some memorable photos.
